How do I pay my tuition?

There are several ways to go about this. Let me start off by telling you what I did and why I did what I did. I paid my tuition fee before I left India using

1. What is peerTransfer?

International wire transfer! The University of Cincinnati has teamed up with peerTransfer to offer an innovative and streamlined way to make international wires for tuition payments. It's fast, simple and cost effective from any country anytime.

This method of payment is also preffered by UC. Check out this link- http://www.uc.edu/bursar/paying_your_bill/intl_wires.html

The website should explain what it's all about.

2. How do I make a payment?

This video should explain everything you'll need to know on how to make a payment.

3. Why should I do peerTransfer?

Personally, if you'll need to worry about a lot of things when you get to UC and fee payment is an extra thing to worry about. I used pT to pay my fees before I left because I didn't want to carry extra money. By the time I got to UC, my student account was already active. One less thing to worry about, while my friends were trying to get it figured out. Not that it is a big hassle, but you get the point right?

4. I am not cool with peerTransfer.  What are the other ways I can pay my tuition fee?

You can get your money as traveler's checks and deposit the money into your bank account (Bank on campus) and pay your fees online. Takes 3 business days.

I was told that students got dollar drafts and paid using these drafts. I don't know how that works, never used one.
